Shí Piáo Hú
A poet's ladle, reborn in purple clay.
The Shi Piao Hu (Stone Ladle Teapot) is one of Yixing's most beloved classics, inspired by the humble stone ladles used by ancient scholars to scoop water for brewing tea. Its silhouette is deceptively simple — a flat, trapezoidal body that tapers downward like an inverted triangle — yet it radiates a quiet, meditative elegance. Immortalized in a poem by the legendary Song Dynasty writer Su Shi, this teapot has been reinterpreted by master potters for centuries, making it a living bridge between poetry, history, and your afternoon cup.
The Shi Piao style is so iconic that it became one of the signature designs of Chen Mansheng, the Qing Dynasty scholar-official who famously collaborated with master potters to merge literati culture with teapot craft — essentially making the teapot itself a work of art worthy of a gentleman's study.

化 神 石际 ，曼生壶式之一，由石朱演变而来 。石外是一种有柄有流的小亮器 。 北宋苏轼在《试院煎茶 》一诗中有云 :“且学公家作若饮 ，砖炉石鳄行相随 。” “石杜过”造型清秀刚健，是顾景舟最受制作的壶型之一,不同时期 均有制作 , 包括“小石杜索”“中石球索”、“大石蒜过”“鹤盖石昧索”、 “子治石标壶”等多种式样 。 存世最早的作品 制作于 1935~1936 年 ，绿泥. 底刻款“龙溪魏梓敬 珍藏”，把下落有铃印“顾氏”。以传统石壮款型为本，在细节上少许变动 ， 使之在售秀之中又增添了几许刚健之气 ,整体造型别致有前 ，秀丽典雅，线 条和舒适流畅 ，比率恰到好处 ， 处处可见顾景舟早期制过的不凡功力。 上世纪 70 年代后期再次制作同款壶一把 ，底部铃盖顶圆“景舟”款 ， 择梢铃印“景记”，1982 年发表于《壶锦 》一书 。80 年代后期 ，顾景舟放 大了尺寸,将壶体的容量从 60 毫升增加到 220 毫升， 第三次制作了“小石 对壶"，盖内铃印“顾景洲”, 在底部铃印“荆山壶隐"，壶身底部靠近国梢 部铃印“索虽"。 所 大石昭过 (压盖式 ) 1948 年 ，顾景舟经铁画轩戴相明介绍 ,与吴湖帆 、江寒汀等合作了顾 景和月艺术生命第一阶段最重要的作品 一 “大石飘索"。 大石球过共成器五 把 ，除顾景衣自己藏用一把 其余分别赠予吴湖帆、江寒汀、唐云、戴相明 - 四位收藏 五 这五把索中 ,除了吴湖由的一把画面为江寒汀所绘 其余志的正面均
