Bàn Yuán Hú
Half circle, whole lot of elegance.
The Ban Yuan Hu is exactly what it sounds like — a teapot built around the pure, satisfying geometry of a half-circle. Dating back to at least 1946, this particular example is a collector's dream: the ribbed lines ringing the lid aren't just decorative, they create a snug, precise fit while adding a subtle elegance to the form. The sweeping curved spout and elliptical handle keep everything in graceful balance, making this pot as beautiful to hold as it is to look at.
This 1946 piece is a true collaboration — the teapot itself was crafted by the Ziyi Xuan studio, while the accompanying artwork features a painting by Ling Xu and calligraphy by Cui Hu, reflecting the deep tradition of pairing Yixing teapots with fine Chinese art.

ID 神 “撕盖半圆索”紫泥色壶身呈半圆形 。装饰硫口线, 既方便盖子的扣合 ， 又增加了造型的质秀感，一弯流肯出有势 ，反挺括有度 ，的子椭圆， 呼应该 器圆润流畅的艺术风格 。 该索为顾景舟与凌虚 '、崔护 "以艺交友的佳作 , 正面刻"和汰舌喷香 景洲 先生清玩 崔护”, 反面绘有凌虚的“鱼乐图”， 画面中大小三条鱼在荷塘中 自由自在地漫游穿梭,姿态轻巧灵动 ， 给人以自得其乐之感 。 能盖半圆志正面图 凌虚 (1919.7一“) 别名万项、瑞浪野上各， 浙江湖州人。 擅长中国画 、民间木版年画。1941 年毕业于上海新华艺专国画系 .和曾任上海艺专、行知艺校、 安徽师范大学艺术系教师 ,苏州 桃花场木刻年画社创作干部 . 代表作有《百鱼图卷 》《姑苏城外寒山才》 等 江苏省苏州市人 ，1924 年出生于太仓,退休前任苏州工艺美术研究所设计室主任 ,高 :美术师，中国书法家协会会员等 。 早年爱好书画 ,为吴湖帆私淑弟子 。 书法以赵估疤 金书体见长, 清新售逸，道秀婉约 。 岗和4人
