提梁盘壶
When a teapot decides it wants to fly.

The 提梁盘壶 is a breathtaking collaboration between two legends: master potter Gu Jingzhou and renowned artist Han Meilin, who dreamed it up in 1988. Shaped like a bird caught mid-flight, its arching overhead handle mimics outstretched wings, the spout curves like a beak, and the lid flows like tail feathers — the whole teapot feels alive. It's less a vessel for tea and more a sculpture that happens to brew one.

Did You Know?

This teapot is a rare 'dream team' piece — Han Meilin, best known internationally for designing the mascots of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, sketched the bird-inspired design, while Gu Jingzhou, one of the most celebrated Yixing masters of the 20th century, brought it to life in clay.
